Anyone know of adore that was the number of gates open at Newburgh?
not sure ...but i talked to a guy that said he called up there and the guy told him the site for the dam too look and helped him out for like 45 min. and told him what all the numbers meant and what gates were open and be open in the near future.
On Tuesday, 1st 4 gates were open and a couple others were opened a little. Skipjacks were running again.
All gates were open yesterday (sunday)

a few of the big ones have been mixed in .. but mainly 4 to 5 inch ones at this time...
no skipjack at the dam today.... i think the water is just alittle 2 muddy for them...

As soon as I read this I started looking forward to the weekend to do some fishing. Then I remembered I still have to fix my boat trailer :angry: Sooo I guess I will just be forced to go deer hunting :wink:
caught some nice skips lastnight. about a dozen 10 to 12 inchers in about an hour with a few small ones mixed in.;
anyone know if the newburg ramp is opened back up since the high water last week?

it was 6" deep with mud right after the water went down so i didnt know if they cleaned it off yet..
