Hey yall I found this site from Crappie.com. Somebody over there posted a link to yalls Libary around teh 1st of tehyear & ever since when I had Catfish on the brain I would come & Visit !! Well Last night after getting tired of not being able to upload pics I bite the Bullet & joined !

I am 43 years old and MAINLY fish for Crappies . But during late spring & Summer the last 8-10 years I have been fishing for Huge Cats , either at one of my Companys Plants on Wateree or @ Monticello .

I have had good luck on both live bream & bream heads . I have caught more Blues than Flats BUT we have caught a few huge flats at the Plant on Wateree . We always fish on the bottom and teh boat anchored . I have seen some boats on Monticello drifting the last few times and was wondering how it was done,,, how much weight, same hooks as bottom fishing ?

anyway Glad to be a member of the BOC !

    Allen

Welcome to the BOC, allen. I've never heard of trolling for crappie. Could you elaborate on it a little for me ? Certainly would appreciate it.

Welcome to BOC. Good to have you.
If your not fishing a river I would recomend 2 oz of lead to drift.
A weedless sinker would probley do best around 1.5-2 oz good luck have fun.
