some forums i belong too, have a roll call, where newbies to the forum introduce themselves. But i looked and didn't see such a creature.........

I live in Iowa, Des Moines in fact........in the middle of another 500 year flood, 15 years after the LAST 500 year flood, go figure........

I first stopped into members library, and WHAM, a thread i feel that will really help me right off the bat, the Gas Latern troubleshooting thread. WOW......great info, thankx Whistler.........you any relation to Kris Kristofferson?.....LOLOLOL.........sorry, couldn't pass it up.......

Any way stumbled on the old BOC forum by accident, by doing a google search on mulberries. Some posted about using them for bait. So followed that here.

I mostly hang out at a smoking meat forum, and LOVE smoked catfish, specially when i catch em......

This place looks like a WEALTH fo information, and glad i found it.

But its going to take WEEKS to just read up on all the great info already posted, but i can handle that..........specailly since its going to be awhile before the rives recede enuff to get out on em to do some catfishing............

Okay, thats my story, and i am sticking to it........LOLOL:wink:

Yes, I have seen on the news that Des Moines got hit hard with all the water. You folks have it rough up there and hope ya'all recover soon.
