    I haven't seen a new year in about 5yrs:embarassed:

But this yrs I promised the wife that I would try to stay awake and drink a glass of (beer) :big_smile:to bring in the new yr.

I will make no promise's that I will be changing anything in 2010 being 2009 was a good year for me.:cool2::big_smile:

All I wish for is meeting more BOC members in 2010 and that all the snow goes away real quick.:tounge_out:

Look forward to seeing all the Kansas BOC brothers again in 2010....

Be safe & " Happy new years" Guys & Gals!!!

New Year for me is usually someone kicking my chair and saying "Wake up a$$hole, you're missing new year again" :embarassed::roll_eyes:
I see it in once every 3 or 4 years, maybe, sometime,.....OK almost never,.. but I try.

First and foremost, stay alive for ALL of next year. Then get to associate with all the scoundrels I've been fortunate enough to meet and re-meet with this year, and be fortunate enough to meet with them next year.(Their wives too:eek:oooh::roll_eyes::wink:)
Quite a few of the BOC members I've met have made my life so much richer, and keep me "juvinileated"(spell check wouldn't open for that one:smile2:) but you all do.
Y'alls company make life worth living, I wanna keep on doing it, so please keep me company:wink: Ain't I the slobbering sissy:smile2:.

Okay, now for the serious stuff, I resolve to have a keg in the kegerator every day next year, frosty mugs in the freezer up above, drink a frosty mug with breakfast(what ever time that may be:roll_eyes:) every morning:roll_eyes: don't EVER be without a back up 30 pack in the fridge(just in case I forget to check the keg)
Try to make a record of the most beer bottle caps collection of beers I've drank for the Guiness book.
NEVER, EVER forget to take my "travel pack" when I go ANY WHERE.
Attend EVERY gathering, mini or mega, unless it's in a state park, I VOW to never ever go to one again.
In case I do die, every one comes to my funeral and have a free beer, already got it set up with the parlor, ya gotta bring your own mug though. I'll have the keg there:wink:(leave the damn can of Keystone in my coffin, it's for the trip to where ever I'm headin':smile2:)
Okay, I know, I know, I got windy.
    Just love ya all:beauty:
Sorry about this, TOM made me do it.

    Ogden, Kansas,
Tom and Ray, I've been up to see the new year in for several years.
Everything is more or less the same with fireworks added. I hope to
be treating my guests this evening with wassail, a concoction(sp)
mildly alcholic, but filled with essences to strength health and give
good luck for the comming year. Served warm, sorta like punch.

I resolve to eat three meals a week involving fish, mostly sardines
and salmon, I think, considering my luck in the catching department.
I resolve also to return to a state of health in which I can feel
comfortable in the new armor I am building. Byzantine lamillar scale
with straked arm and lower leg defences is the pattern I am following.
People wore what armor they could afford amongst the Romanae
in the Eastern Empire during the reign of Basil II, called The White
Death by the Seljuk Turks his army would slaughter in the hundreds.
Wear it to the Fall Gathering I will, perhaps to head-butt Jim with.
Tired of the cardiac cripple image and the fatness. Bye, Diabetes II!

We watched Dick Clark drop his ball :eek:oooh::roll_eyes:in New York City. We took our new years eve movie, this year was special though, usually it's just Lydia, me and Cody, but we had our Son and Daughter In Law with us this year, he hasn't been here for about 15 years or so. I tried to get them to wake up my newest Grandson, 9 months, they both wanted to hit me:smile2:, so we'll make another movie tomorrow when he's normally awake. I had my traditional mug of beer in my hand, Lydia had her glass of wine, they're teetotalers, which is fine with me, keeps the keg fuller longer:roll_eyes::wink::smile2:. BUT IT WAS REALLY GREAT.
Hope everyone else did what they wanted to, sounds like Tom did, and congratulations to Ray, I see he's still up, Peggy must've given him a GOOD kick:smile2:. HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO ALL.
Just thought of some thing, we had the oldest(me) and the youngest(grandson) here for the new year, WOW, ain't that something, for me it is.:big_smile:

2.5 beers per hour, thats a pretty good pace you got their Tom. I went to bed after the evening news:sad2:. Worked all night the night before and only got a few hours of sleep during the day. Had to wake up at 5:30 this morning for work so I wasn't about to push it.

I've been in a bad fish'n funk ever since I joined the BOC, so I'm hoping this is the year that it all changes:wink:
