I am going camping next week at Clarks Hill at Hawes Creek. Can anyone give me some ideas on where and how to locate some fish. I am new to the catfish game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Greg! Welcome to the Brotherhood of Catfishermen family from a neighbor up north :smile2:. We're glad to have you!

I don't know anything about the area you mentioned, but we have a bunch of SC members. I'm sure someone will be along to help you out.

Greg, There's a few men on here that fish the Hill reguraly, but I'll give my 2 cents worth. I'd find some small shallow flats or humps near the river or creeks channels. Fish shallow on one side and a little deeper on the other. This is just a patteren you can fish till you local some good'uns. Those blues and flatheads will move in and feed around dust and make runs in and out all night. Creeks are good right now.
