New to South Carolina , catfish in the intercoastal?

    new to town just drove down beginning of March from New York. Love fishing the bay up there but
    Different beast here . Looking to become avid catfisher been fishing a bit off the banks of waccamaw little
    Success. Got my hands on a Jon not
    Looking to hop in and bring home
    Some catfish .
    Intercoastal a good start ? Please

    I'm from down in Charleston, so I don't fish that area, but I do know that there are both blues and flatheads in the Waccamaw River, so the fresh parts of the ICW up that way will also hold them. Good luck, and let us know how you do!

    You can enter the Waccamaw river off 701 at bucks sport marina.
