Hello everyone,I am new to the Richmond area and the James river.I grew up in Fredericksburg fishing the Rappahannock river.I have landed some awesome cats up to 47lbs.I moved here four months ago and am very interested in getting to know the James river and about its huge cats,I have a nice boat but due to loaning it to a friend he did some damage to the hull and motor.so I am stuck on the bank till I get repairs, what I an asking is can someone direct me to some spots when I can bank fish? I will welcome any advice in that area,Thanks everyone and good fishin to the lucky ones who get to go.

Osborne boat landing has a great pier Ive personaly caught many citation cats in that area. Osborne landing is east of richmond leaving the city on route 5 then taking a right on osborne turnpike (next to the 7-11 )will get ya there. Also deep bottom park is a few miles past Osborne park on the same road. Send me a PM for link to a site with great info on fishing in Richmond
