Well We Have To Go Get A Second Scale Measurement But It Looks Like My Buddy And I Just Set the USA Record For A Ladyfish, Using 15LB test.

The Current Record, According To I.G.F.A. Is 4.2 LBS, Ours According To The First Scale Is Just In At Just Over 5 LBS :eek:oooh:

    Pictures To Follow !!!!!!!!!

Congrats, I love ladyfish, they are good fighters and awesome bait. I caught a lot in Florida not long ago, most I caught were around 2-3 pounds. They call them the poor mans Tarpon, and for a good reason.

Well Here Is The Pic & The Final Weigh-In. We Weighed The Fish @ 2 Other Certified Scales, Which Showed It To Be, 2 Lbs 8 Oz, Making The First Scale Off 1/2 Lb.

However The Current Record Is 2Lbs 10 OZ. According To I.G.F.A., The First Scale Measurement Would Count Because It Was Certified Less Than 1 Yr Ago, But After Weighing It Again & Knowing It Wasn't Correct, WELL............ You Have To Do What's Right.

That's My Buddy Mike in The Pic., He Is The One Who Caught It. I'm Going To Go Cry Now !!:too_sad: Elliot
