My dad was down at the Cape Fear Mon+Tues and someone at River Side told him that a new State Record Flat was caught recently at 87lbs. Wondering if anyone knows if there is any truth to that?

As I thought a case of bad info! My dad is down there 2-3 times a month and travels the whole river speaking to a lot of people. Just thought I would check. Thanks for the replies!
