Well, went fishing at the local city park lake and tried out my new slip bobber rigs. Had 'em set at about 4-5 feet deep using shad, crawdads, and bluegill. Caught my first fish on crawdad, a 3 lb. bass, and the second fish was caught on bluegill, a 2 pound bass. Got dark and didn't have much action, and as I was shining my light to locate my bobbers I noticed one of them was gone. My pole started dancing and I started reeling and landed my new personal best flathead...27 pounds. If you notice, the last picture posted shows the fish going back into the water to fight another day!!
