It has taken me awhile to finally catch a nice flathead on RnR. I have caught many flatheads from 10 to 60 pounds on setlines but have never had any luck with RnR. Finally last saturday night me and a friend where fishing on the caney river just north of oklahoma, and i caught this 25# im guessing, the scale i used is prolly 70 years old lol.

Caught him at around 11:15 pm on a 5" perch in a spot where i have caught many flathead on setlines, i wasnt for sure if i was gonna get him in the boat as im not very expierenced at all with RnR fishing, but with the help of my friend after about 8 min we finally landed him.

Would just like to say thank you to this great site and great members, ive done alot of reading.. not much posting.. but what i have read has really helped me out and now i hope to land a bigger one next time out on RnR.

PB is an abbreviation used for personal best. Why folks like to abbreviate
probably has to do with the number of catfishermen that did a turn in
the military. Personally, I like PB flatheads (pot bellied). Confused?

Way to go! Lots more fun and excitement on RnR than on a set line.
