Went to the upper James above Snowden this evening. Fished from about 8-11, Caught 8#, 12# flatties and my new pb, not sure the exact weight, but the scales i had weighed up to 18# and it sunk those. Also caught 2 5-6# channels. All on live gills. On the way back down river, I was throwing a black buzzbait and caught this 6# smallmouth. All in all an awesome night:big_smile:

One of the flatties in my pond come from your honey hole about 6-7 years ago.Seeing your pics brought back some great memories of having a little boat piled high with equip. at Snowden. Congratulations on a beautiful catch!

Congrats Chip! Did you measure the flattie or smallie? We need to hook-up before summer is over.

No I didn't even think about measuring. I found out my dig camera does not have a timer so I was kinda frustratated trying to get pics in the dark. I'm going to try to fish the same area either fri or sat night, let me know if you want to go.

Nice flat! It looks to be around 20 lb. or maybe 25 lb. nice solid fish anyway! Congrats on him. I remember my first one over 20 lb. an never will forget it.
