new PB Flathead Catfish on Lake Travis

    Well I finally broke into the double digits caught a 15 lb flathead. May try again tonight to see if I can break that.

    nice fish.is the fishing still good with the lake so low? i hear its way below normal!

    Oh its Way below normal. All the public boat ramps are closed. The fishing is still good well consistant. I fish the north west end of the lake and usally catch at least 2 fish. Bank fishing is real easy with the lake so low.

    congrats eric, hello from north carolina. nice fish of coarse.keep it up, i lived in austin for about 8 years and fished travis almost every weekend, take it from me there are some of the biggest cats ive ever seen in that lake waitin' on you.i have had my best luck drifting live shiners at night in about 40ft of water & fishing about 8 to 15ft in the mornings.i hope to see a MONSTER on your next thread,good luck and keep me posted on what you find. P.S. my memories would be better if not for partyin' on 6th street, i will always love TX:crazy:
