Awesome. You are extremely talented. You should paint a blue or a flathead and post it.! How long does it take you to do one of those? I wish I had that talent, I would paint the river every time I went fishin to kill time between bites.

    Nice! work Darrel.:cool2:
I was always afraid to do a portrait. One day I finally had to prove to my self that I could. I'll share it with you now. She is a young Vietnamese girl. I have never painted another portrait, but perhaps for someone special in my life, I might do another one.

Gosh Darrell, those are really somethin' bro. What an amazing artistic talent you have. I was at a loss for words there for a few minutes and still don't think what I've said has done you or the artwork justice. Thank you so much for posting them and sharing your gift with us. :worship:

simply amazin both of you. true artists in the rarest form. what are they? acrylics or oils... i have my suspicions but not gonna say til you state the fact. i would give my eye teeth to have half the talent that both of you have.

I had a feeling yours was an oil painting because I could see some brush strokes in it. You are right, I would have to have oils because of correcting mistakes as well, but I'm still thinking that Darrell's is acrylics. Everything is too sharp and smooth and I can't see brush strokes. It could be just my eyes but that's what I'm thinking it is. Either way, you both are extremely blessed to have such an extraordinary talent.
