finally got the boat done(almost) and in the water a few times.
14 foot jon boat-free; fixed small split in hull, sanded, primed, and
    shadow grass paint scheme.
trailer-free; sanded primed and flat black paint, brand new tires(20 bucks)
new jack, winch, and hitch coupler(80 bucks)
    motor- 2000 honda 4-stroke 8 horse, less than 50 hours(800 bucks)
(pretty good deal i thought, runs awesome)
seats, trolling motor, battery and other misc. stuff i already had plus about
50 bucks in paint and primer.

great boat. a little patience and some time(3 years) and not a lot of money and now i have a nice boat to be proud of. some guys gave me compliments on it at the boat ramp. made my day. if i can figure out how i'll post some pic of it, hopefully holding some fish.:0a23::0a22::0a17:

Congrats on the boat. It seems to be valued alot more when you put the time and effort into a project like you have done. I'm sure it's a boat to be proud of!

Sounds like a real nice boat. Now you need to load it up with fish.

    Hey Ryan,
Sounds like a heck of a nice boat. Now get out there and make it smell like fish and post a picture when you have a chance so we can look at it.
