New Ohio state record blue catfish

    Did everybody hear about the new ohio state record blue that was caught last week somewhere around cincy on the river? 96lbs!!!

    well thats a good catch... wish the fish woulda got to live though..

    its hard to believe ohio never had a certified record blue before 2008.. and that was only 57lbs!!

    Thats a big blue fer sure... Caught it on a abu 5000 I think it was.

    that is a big blue 96# 54.5 on a frozen skipjack

    I agree Justin. I am a little concerned that the big boy won't make it in a "pond".

    i agree that 40 yr old fish will not make in the pond think all the people now wanting to fish his pond :crazy:

    if it dies, he'll have alot to deal with... have to rent a backhoe to dig a hole big enough to bury it. Imagine a big fish like that bloated and rotting in the sun which will happen eventually when it starves to death.
