brst advice is to put your time in and learn as much as you can from the people here. and don't be afraid to try something off the wall either, you never know what will work and what spots will produce unless you try them. oh, and use big baits.

WELL GUYS, IT IS REAL CRAZY HOW THINGS HAPPEN. I PUT UP THIS THREAD TO TRY TO GET SOME ADVICE FROM MY FELLOW BROTHERS ON HOW TO CATCH A BIG FISH. IT JUST SO HAPPENED THAT BEGINNERS LUCK TOOK ITS TOLL. I AM SO GLAD TO HAVE THE FRIENDS THAT I DO THAT TAUGHT ME EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT FISHING AND HUNTING--ESPECIALLY MY FATHER IN LAW(ZEBOMAN). I HAVE SPENT COUNTLESS NIGHTS ON THE RIVER WITH THEM FISHING AND SOME NIGHTS I WOULDN'T CATCH ANYTHING. BUT THE SPORT IS STILL SO INTERESTING AND FUN TO ME THAT IT DIDN'T MATTER. I'M JUST GLAD THAT NOW I HAVE A LITTLE MORE EXPERIENCE UNDER MY BELT SO WHEN I CATCH THE STATE RECORD I CAN BE READY FOR IT. LMAO. THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR ADVICE AND ALL YOUR CONGRATS ON THAT HOG. IT WAS 35 LBS AND BOY DID THAT SUCKER FIGHT. IT IS ALL A NEW EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND I'M ENJOYING EVERY MINUTE OF IT.
