Just moved to the area and was informed about your site to get good information in the SC and it seems to live up to its reputation. Anyways i've been fishing the Pee Dee, Catawba, and Wateree rivers for a couple months now and have found a couple nice holes that are hit and miss. Took the jon boat out on the Pee Dee from Cheraw to highway 34 landing and it took 6 hours due to low water conditions. Going down the shoal at 34 was a bit scary and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Well hope i can contribute to the site as i am out very often.
Welcome to the BOC, Jay, we're glad to have you join us. As you have discovered, there is a wealth of knowledge here. I look forward to your contributions.
I've never fished your area but I'm sure a lot of folks around the SC board do. I myself fish the 12 mile river area. There is a lot of great folks around here willing to help in any way they can. So jump on in and get involved, enjoy yourself and g'luck with them Cats.
Welcome to the BOC! I have fished the Wateree River several times. Caught alot of fish. Wish the water would come back up though. It's a dangerous river when the water is as low as it is.
Welcome to the BOC Jay from the pee dee river. You should find alot of info here.
