Just seen the new Gama circle hooks at Gander Mountain that come in 9/0 and 10/0 sizes. I was going to buy some but they were over $14 for a pack of 4. Way too pricey for my blood. Has anyone used them yet?

Yikes! At over $3 a pop I would like to know what justifies that.

stainless steel, 3X or 4X strong. It still doesnt justify the price

Dang! I've paid $7-$8 for a hook and not complained because what they were made of, how they were made, ect, and more importantly, how they "Tested" in my "Destruction Lab" made it worth the price to me because I have tested over 4 different brands and at least 4 different models of each brand and at least 4 different size of each model and not all of them were worth .50 cents much less the $1 or $2 or $3 dollars they cost per.
Guess I better shut up while I am ahead!:embarassed:
Oh Well, Thats why they make "Tundras, F-150's, Silverados, Rams, and Jimmys".
    Cordially,

    OOOPS! :embarassed: Embarrassed myself again!
I forgot to say, "No matter what hook you are using, I'm with Ya if your BOC and practice CPR along with all the other applicable official rules and some of the unofficial "rules" too.
Sorry I forgot that part. Moon is still up and I've been playing with the Deer too much all night and not getting my proper rest!:wink:
Hoping ALL of you are able to stay SAFE on every outing!
    Fraternally,

I have been using the Gamakatsu 10/0 octopus off set hooks for a while now and they are super! I have used the 8/0 octopus circle hook and it works good too. I have caught a 28lb flathead on one of the 8/0 hooks this year. They are high if you pay full price. I have been trying to buy all I can get before every one knows about some of the deals out there. I benn getting both size hooks for the 10.00 range. per 25 pk

Guys I USED to be a Gamakatsu guy, but after trying the new Team Catfish Double A ction Circle hooks I'll never tie on a Gama again, they are just a much better hook. To try these hooks for Yourself You can contact Steve Brown (catfishsafari on the BOC) You wont be dissapointed.

Browning shotguns???? I also prefer Benilli!!!! LOL

    Hey Brad,

I looked at those hooks the other day are these Daiichi hooks. They sure look like them just repackaged.

What is the cheapest price everyone has found on the diiatchis? I found the 7/0 for $3.99 for 3 hooks, the 10/0 $4.29 for 4 hooks and the 12/0 for $4.29 for 3 hooks. I ordered some of each size to test out. Has anyone found them any cheaper?

Those are getting to pricey for me to try. If you try them let us know what you think. I need further tests with someone elses money first before I can commit.
