Thank you all for the big welcome! I get lots of great tips and information from
BOC. I am a big fan of Rusty's stinkbait so found this site a long time ago on
Rusty's links section. It is great to be able to see where the fish are biting and
    what they are biting on.

    Sincerely,
    Rivrbunny

I usually fish anywhere between Kaw dam and the mouth of the Salt Fork. I have friends with places by the old river bridge (now new), a little down from
the old OG&E, and by the mouth of the Salt Fork. I sometimes fish Kaw lake
up on Beaver Creek. I also like to go on "adventures" and fish somewhere new.
I just enjoy being out in the sunshine and blue skies.

Hey Rivrbunny, I have been trying to fish the Arkansas river, but I'm a little skeered of the moving water. I am gonna have to go with Chris Glass once or at least get some more info from him. I gotta give you kudos if your fishing the river, especially froma boat. Hope to see you out there and welcome again to the BOC.

The river is way down- fishing is great now if you find water with any depth. We
did really well recently fishing the deep spots. Kayaking is a great way to get from one spot to the next on the river but airboating is the best!!! I do not have an airboat but I have family and friends that have airboats. They can usually be
coaxed (without difficulty) to put the airboats in the river on a pretty day.
I do not kayak when the water is up, about 1600 cfs or less is good kayaking
water flow. I got caught once on a sandbar when they let the water out fast
and it is scary trying to get up and out of the river with the water rising. Most of the time I will drag the kayak along just in case the corp starts letting water
out or to get from one sandbar to the next.

Brian (Cutshad), This is a good time to take your pontoon out on the Navagation Channel. We really haven't had any rain latey and there's barely any current. The fishing should be decent with the cooler temps and you don't have to worry about any recent rains floating garbage down the river and trying to dodge it. Get out there and fish.
