New driftmaster rod holders

    Finally replaced my cheap plastic 360 rod holders I got from cabelas that would crack when you tighten them up. I replaced them with driftmaster's pro flatliner style rod holders. They seem to be stout and hopfully I dont have to worry that a big flattie will break it off.:doubt:

    I have 6 a good friend give me, i really like em.If anything rips one off my angle iorn rod rack, the ships fixin to sink cause the transom got ripped out.:crazy:

    Driftmasters Are simply the best. EVERYTHNG else is just junk

    Great upgrade! Been using driftmasters since 1998 and haven't had a problem with them. Just make sure you have the right threads for the bases on the right side of the boat, unless you are just running them on a rack system on the back of your boat.

    I will be using them this weekend and hopfully catch my first flattie for the year.

    Well I did not catch my first flattie, I caught my first channel about 10lbs. The rod holder worked great I just watched when the rod loaded up I picked it up out of the holder and reeled the kittie in.:0a23:
