Fool-a-Fish makes you bait or lures the brightest thing in the water.
When you use Fool-a-Fish, fish see your bait like a thousand tiny mirrors!

No matter what type of bait, lure or fly you use, you'll want a bottle of Fool-a-Fish in your tackle box.

Fool-a-Fish is based on research that shows fish see and are attracted to light in the ultra-violet spectrum, which is invisible to the human eye. Fool-a-Fish is an odorless, colorless compound that causes your bait or lure to shine with reflected ultraviolet light.

    How it Works

Visible light only penetrates clear ocean water to a depth of about 30-40 feet; UVA light travels up to 1/2-mile, penetrating even murky and off-color water.
Lures and baits treated with Fool-a-Fish reflect UVA light in every direction, just like a spinning "Disco Ball."
Fish use UV vision to find locate their prey; they swarm to bait or lures coated with Fool-a-Fish.

I read about this in in the Dayton Daily News.wanted to know your thoughts on this and if you would use it?

I am usually eager to try new things. Which is evident by my storage room being filled with now useless items. so yes I would try it.

Perhaps it will give the appearance of a wounded shad. Add another dimension to a baits appeal. If nothing else its shiny and who doesnt want the shiniest bait on the water. lol

watch the bait become toxic so when the catfish eats it, it dies. Ask the guy if he only catches fish on the first trip and does it seem the fish disappear after that

I am not sure if it is the same thing I read about on Comcast web site. If it is, I ordered a bottle. It may be a waste of money. However, like many of you, I have wasted a lot more on less important things than fishing.

As we all know bait companies mostly make baits to catch fishermen thats how they stay in business.

At least all the redneck fish will be attracted to your shiny bait:rolleyes: Just kidding. Not many products preform how they are advertised but who knows.

There was an article in my local paper several days ago about this product and how it was developed. I wish I still had the article. I would still try the product anyways
