Went to cabelas yesterday and got me a new carp rig. I got a nine foot whuppin stick thats medium action, a shimano ax 4000 reel and some 12lb test line. Going to test it out on tuesday. Setting one rod for carp and one for cats!

Went out today the lake was still frozen but it was almost 70 degrees out! i had to get my line wet so went down to a random spot on the creek. Didnt catch anything but it was nice to be out.
