    They are Octopus Hooks. They should work either way.

    Gene them hooks look great will they catch a bluegill for me ? lmao

    Can't wait to try them out on the Ohio River.

    Have you tried live gills on them yet. im allways looking for a better live bait hook thanks

    Well did not hook up, (no bite) but I really like the way that the shad set on that hook, I would assume that gill would do the same, didn't use any today, I found that the shad set great with the hook was hooking them just back of the eye with the bard being just a bit over the back of them, the bait held very well and what I liked the most is how the bend in the hook seems to keep the point and barb open just above the bait, it was well exposed I thought just didn't get any cooperation out of the whisker gang but it sure looks like it is going to be a good clean set.
