Neuse River Fish Kill

    From these reports an other i have seen it appears to be low oxygen levels not some kind of chemical or sewage spill ,any one that has ever tried to keep menhadden alive know they die ez

    No i Don't think it was no spill. Do = Dissolved oxygen in the water is from algae growth due to to much nutrients in the water. Nutrients is something that comes from sewer outfalls through out the river basins and the state has limits on some but not all. They are in the process of making all have limits now. Ther is a big study being done on the yadkin river and highrock lake as we speak. Help keep our rivers and lakes clean put grease in the trash not in our sewer's:tounge_out:

    From what I read this past weekend it had more to do with salinity then anything.
