Need help

    i have been catching a ton of drum or sheephead. was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts of eating them and if there are any recipes. not targeting them but hey they fight pretty good and might as well give em A try

    Chris cut them up and use as bait.Not worth eating or feezing. One persons opinion. Catch those kitty cats.:big_smile:

    Have eaten them for years and they aren't bad. You probably could tell most that they are channels chuncks (etc) and they wouldn't know the difference. I fillet them. Make great fish sandwiches. But like Mickey said, this is just one man's opinion. You may not like them. Like any fish, if you keep them cool and take care of your catch before you clean them they will taste better.

    Personally I like them.

    They fillet up real nice and taste like a Whitefish.

    Keep 'em.

    i guess i ll give them a try. should i soak them in salt water or just fillet and fry?

    I have eaten them, they aren't too bad. I have cut them up for bait, but so far no luck. Who knows try them and see.
