    Hey guys,

I could you some help for tomorrow night. I'm meeting a couple of buddies down at lacygne and we're heading out on the powerplant to set some trot lines and run a few jugs. We'll probably wet a few lines while we're at it. I could use some pointers on where to set these lines. Any help is appreciated! Also, does anybody know what they are hitting right now?

    Brian

Hello, Brian I have done ok with live baits on limb lines never set trot lines and Jugs are Illegal in Kansas unless the are anchored. I have Also used fresh cut shad just caught 1-5 pound channels with the shad on R/R. I heard that liver and worms work too.

Here is what the KDWP report was as of 6/30/08

    Channel, blue and flathead catfish,
    Good
    all sizes,
limb/trot lines, live bait, use cut shad, worms, liver, or gizzard shad at the hot water outlet

Here is a link if you want to check on the jug regulations

    http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/news/fishing/fishing_regulations

    Hope this helps:smile2:

Might want to check out all local laws on the jugs.
    Good Luck!
