I need to know if anyone has had a problem with an ant bed in thier garden. I have a large one and I generally use AMDRO bait ,but the directions say NOT to use in garden or livestock foodplots. What works for you?:sad2:

Richard I do not have an ant problem in the garden and I spray with
liquid sevin mixed with water. I do not know if thats killing the ants
or I just do not have a problem.

not in my garden but had a big mound in the yard last year, we dug a hole out around the big spot, just a shovel deep and poured 3 gallons of white vinegar in the hole and let it soak in, ain't seen an ant since then, all i can tell ya.........Old fella in town said that was what he always used and didn't have to worry about adding chemicals to his garden or lawn, all I know is it done something to them little bugs cause I have not seen them since, LOL.... must have pickled them :smile2:

Just curious, what harm are the ants doing, in the garden? I have hundreds of small ant hills, never noticed them bothering the plants much.

grits, corn meal, black pepper, coffee grounds (used of course)
try a few shakes of any of the four mix and see how it works for you.

just put it on the fire pit and bring it to a boil,
hand truck it to the bed and dump it.LOL

    Rent an armadillo.

    Works slick.

Don't have any feed costs and don't need a tall fence.
