I took out the old Nebraska archery silver carp record last night with this one weighing in at 17lb 130z. Previous record was 8lbs. 2oz.

 You killed that poor helpless defenseless carp

:feel_good: Good job on the record. You are going to get it officially weighted, right.
Plus what kind of set up are you using?

It's already been certified with the Game and Parks office. I started shooting a mathews "sportsman" this year. Best bow I've ever used for bowfishing. I use a retriever bottle and muzzy points.

way to completely destroy the old record, u shoulda shot like a 9 pounder this week, then an 11 the next, and keep going so that you can break your own record over again. hahaha. :cool2:

Whisker, I just started using the 45lb PSE Kingfisher this year. It's a lot different than the 55lb compounds that I've been using. Biggest difference is the arrow penetration, going to have to switch from sting-o-rees to either Warheads or the Muzzy QRP.
