that looks like a sweet deal. I know a guy kind of in the market for a jon boat. I think he is looking for something like a 18ft Center console but can't afford it right now.

I expect he could get your boat and use it for a year or two and get his money back out of it.

BTW, is the engine a 2000 as well?

No, not sure what the motor is, but I can find out. One thing I do know, it's the fastest 25 around.

You can't expect the motor to be a 2000 for that price.

I checked out the Lowrance X71 fish finder today that goes with it and it works.

I saw no need for a carb rebuild or water pump. First pull, it purred and pumped water like a new one.

Cleaned it up and put it out by the front gate at the shop. Got several interested in it already. I did mention that if they'd like to bargain, I could make it 3000.00, then settle for 2500.00.

The fishfinder needs a transom mount. Trolling motor is inop. That's where the transducer was mounted. Trolling motor was a pain anyway. Motorguide junk.

I'll get pics Monday and post, now that it's cleaned up. Umbrella and all.

I'll have more fresh pics of it Monday. Many have already seen it as I was adding a few things after I first got it.

hey man, don't knock those motor guides, I've had two of them and they have lasted a long time.

I have also had two MinnKota's.
The first on I had didn't last too long but that was likely a care and maintenance thing, teenagers don't take care of stuff real well. I also got another one of the cheap 30lb thrust ones a year or so back, it has been fine but seems a bit loud.
