It's been over 15 years since I fished there but there use to be a very good population of channel cats and some real good sizes in there. Use to be one of the better catfish lakes in the state. Maybe someone else will come along and help you that has fished it lately.

Sorry this is a bit late, and I don't know if you need this information still, but Navajo is primarily a cool-water fishery. The most popular sport fish are Kokanee Salmon, and this time of year they are spawning. However, if you fish in the spawning areas with salmon roe, or some fresh cut sucker, you can a hit some big channel cats. It's not much of a number place, but you can hit some fatties.

Old thread but no reason to start a new one. Anyone know the biggest cat pulled out of Navajo? Over the weekend I got an 11lb channel and a mix of smaller channels and blues fishing from the bank.
