I like the flatheads for their power and ellusiveness, making it a challenge to find them and consitently catch them. I like the Blues for their hard rocking takedowns, and powerful bursts they make when fighting them. Channel Cats pound for pound can be a blast to catch. I really enjoy hitting the big logjams on the warm summer mornings and dropping cut-bait straight over the side of the boat. It's a blast to have to heave them out of the timber and brush! Crappies are my most favorite to catch during the cold months in Ohio.. I am an avid live-bait slip-float guy.... And they are pretty good eating along with the gills... Walleyes, pike etc.. just for a change of pace, and for some more eating!!! rollo

I like flatties most of all, probably because they are about the largest fish in my area and they are primarily what I fish for. I love fishing for channels, but mostly in the cold weather or when there is a flood on. For the blues, well I don't get to go after them that often. Its hard to find one over 10lbs. around here. As far as carp go, unlike rollo:wink: I'm not ashamed to say I enjoy fishing for them they put up a great fight on lite tackle and they make great cut-bait as well. And for crappies and bluegill. I think they are the best eating on the list as well as the best bait. :cool2: CC
