While on break during bowhunting on Friday, I got the idea to make a sabiki carrier. I was getting tired of the rigs getting tangled in the tackle box and not sure out to store them. So, I made a carrier! I hope you like, or maybe you have a similar or less complicated method for keeping your sabiki rigs from tangling after use?

I just take a styrofoam ball and wrap the line around it and hook the jigs into the ball... can leave it tied right on the rod and reel that way and just have to unroll it off the ball when ya get to where ya gonna fish.

If you use a sabiki rig very often then you might as well get a sabiki rod and be done with it. They work GREAT!

    Paul,

That homemade sabiki rod looks great. How far can you cast it out? Any difference from using a regular rod?
