I finally got some pics of my new custom made rod that Coloman made for me for my B-day last June.
It a 7 ft. E-Glass Medium Heavy rod.
I put my new 6600 BCX ABU on it and it's a great combination.
I plan on using it at the 2009 Catfish Expo. I hope to break it in with a new PB.
What do you brothers and sisters think ?

Brother "Coloman" does a real good job on making these.
Lets let him know that he is doing a great job.:big_smile:

I'm saving it for the expo to break it in for that pb. I won't even use it till then...Thats quite a ways off yet but it will be worth the wait.

Coloman made one for my wife also a while back.
Hers is a 7 1/2 ft medium heavy E-glass with an Okuma Convector CV45L reel.
She is very proud of that rod and reel. She will be coming to the expo to catch her PB also.

Well it was under $100, Coloman does some nice work on the rods, I have seen other rods he has done and they all look very good.
With the rod and reel together, it was around $150 and well worth every penny.

That is Big Game 35lb line. I have used it before and have had good luck with it. Good visibility above the water and low visibilty below.
