My new custom aluminum rod rack

    My buddy made this rack for me, just got it on the boat, so it hasnt seen active duty yet lol, but there is a tourny i will be fishing next weekend, and it will be put to the test..I think Im going to like it, seems to be real sturdy..Its pretty much exactly wanted I wanted..Here are some pics. The stuff on the floor of the boat is aluminum shavings, i havent gotten a chance to vacumm it out yet. I cant wait to try it out, seems to be about the right height to get good leverage on the fish, and i got 6 quick set holders across the back that are 16 inches apart.

    Thats some beautiful work ,Mat your buddy has a great talent .I think you should have years of great service from that rod rack.

    It is mounted on a 17 foot deep V Tracker. There are pics of the boat in the boating forum.

    Well the tourny didnt go to well, for me anywyas..LOL...But the rod rack worked great. I really like it, it was definantly a good investment.

    Thanks for the photos of the rod rack. I've saved them on my pc so that if or when we get a small pontoon, we can put that on ours.:cool2:
