I was fishing one of my normal spots on the Tuscarawas River today around 2:30 today. Air temp was around 70, not sure on the other stuff. Cast out 4 nightcrawlers on a 5/0 circle hook to the bottom edge of a semi deep hole. Waited about 5 minutes and then WHAM!!, pole bent over and stayed over. I was able to horse him easily so I figured it to be a small channel. Nope not this time...a 37.5" flatty. No scale, no camera, and only an eldery gentleman watching me from the other side of the river as a witness. I hope to catch that one or a larger friend of his next time. Mental note...put digital camera in tackle box.
