Went out last night on the Fox, in St. Charles...told my bro Ted he's gonna get a flathead this time out, and he certainly managed that task with this 21#'er caught on a live 6" bluegill.

Philip, that is a quality fish for the Fox! Did you get in the same stretch above the St. Charles Dam. I still have not seen one that big yet this year, but I'm gonna keep at it. Did you catch anymore fish that night, or just that one? Maybe we will see you out there some time.

Nice cat. I'm still waiting to beat my 13yr olds 13#er. Still lots of summer left though. Thanks for the nice pic.

Thanks for all the kind words...I had Ted check out the posts and he appreciated everyone's input.
He's unable to join right now as he's inbetween places, and stays here on occasion.
I'm still pumped about the catch, and relive the moment often.
Marty, we waited in the same spot for 3.5 hours for that one fish...had a few other runs on live bluegill but couldn't hook up. We were in the Ferson creek area again, as it continues to produce flatheads for me.
