my boy killed his first deer

    went on youth hunt today 60 lb button buck.
    this was his second year hunting i'm glad i got
    to be there with him on his first deer

    That's fantastic. I was hunting with my son when he got his first deer and his second. Things like that you will never forget.

    And that boy will never forget it, either! Way to go, Dad, for taking the time to keep another kid in the woods, instead of on the streets.

    congads!!! I took my boy yesterday evening --didnt see nothing took his friend this morning had a few on us in the dark and now going back in a nother hour or two with mine again. both are looking at their first as well but mine is 10 and friend is 11.

    Man, I still remember the phone my son made when he got his first buck. I was at home he was a paron deer camp.
    Scared the do-do out of me!
    Mom...heavy breathing could hardly get the words out...
    Me, (What is wrong?!?!)
    Him (Got um....MOM! ) still bearly breathing....
    Me( What! You ok?)
    HIM (Got a deer!)
    Never forget it. He was walking towards it and the emotions were unbelievable!~
    He Called his MOMMY first! LOL
    He was hooked that very day and hooked on hunting Not drugs!

    No matter how big his biggest buck will be, the memory of killing that button buck will be his favorite. It's his first and he got it with his dad. Congrats to him and you both, the bond that hunting makes between a father and son, as well as family and friend, is what it is all about. Congrats and reps to ya....
