Ok brothers I am finally done with my boat and I think its ready to see some action. I just got a 14 ft. tracker jon boat a week ago and have been working on this week and I think I have got it the way I want it. When I bought it all it had was a trailer, a 30lb thrust trolling motor transom mount and a 3 hp motor. I have now added a few things to the trailer, put a 10 hp outboard, put a 65lb thrust trolling motor foot controlled, a lowrance fish/depth finder and gps, rod holders and a livewell/bait holder well a cooler with mr bubbles on it I should say. I have also built a front deck and carpeted the boat. Let me know what yall think. If I can post the pics.

    Big,

Nice work! The before and after shots really show what you can do. I think you are setup for a fun summer with that rig. Where did you get the driftmaster rod holders?

Thanks for posting this info about your boat.

I got them at the bass pro shop here in Ohio. Yeah it don't look like the same boat. It wasn't really too hard just a lot of work but well worth it. The only thing I don't like about it is it is not very wide.

Quite frankly, I like your finished product. Just goes to show what a little energy and some money can accomplish. You sure have a right to be proud of that boat. The best thing I will say about the project, seing as how I'm somewhat in the south (southwest) is that it sure looked a whole lot better without all that white stuff hanging around. Don't like that stuff at all... if I did, I'd move up north. LOL

Looks great, you don't see too many people that still own the Lowrance LMS-350A units awesome in there time and still to this day, I have 2 one I bought back in 1994 for $699.00 dollars the other I bought on E-bay as a back-up unit for $100.00 dollars, both work great but the older unit likes to black out on me during the day when the housing gets hot from the sun , but I can still mark cats and turn around and boat them so it's still on the boat.........Doc
