NICE smallmouth! Catching them that large are on a fequent basis is truly a nice accomplistment. thanks for posting most were released alive. LOVE to hear that! I really wish I had more time to focus more on small mouths than i do. Looks like your fishing around Parrot on the new. good fishing there I mostly fish the James for smallies here from Eagle rock to buchannon and again down in Lynchburg. Also The Smallies below Claytor Dam. bust we do catch several nice ones here on Smith Mtn while fishing for Stripers..
Those are two really nice fish that strange but familiar looking female person is holding.I heard she is slinging hash at Santee these days, something about her causing you to lose your best fish and being banished.:smile2::wink::big_smile:
Nice fish.Good luck on breaking the record.
nice fish!! i fish below the bluestone dam alot, and have caught some nice smallmouths 20"+ and 3 or 4lbers, but nothing like that. what are you using for bait? i noticed in one of your pics you have a minnow bucket tied to you. are you using live bait to catch those big ones? any help/tips you could give would be great. thanks and good fishing.
Big chubs, suckers, and shiners in the 8-10 inch variety will produce MORE fish and bigger fish, try it some time and you will be hooked. Good luck and be safe.
Those are some really nice fish there Richie. Thanks for sharing!
