That reminds me of my first time bow hunting. I had scouted out this small area and decided where I was gonna hang my climbing deer stand then I started carrying in corn to the area. I carried two bags with me everytime I went. The first bag I would cut the corner of the bag open and leave a trail of corn all the way in to where I planned to hunt. With what was left in that I bag I slung it out all over the place as far as I could throw in a circle pattern. With the second bag I did more of the same but with most of it I dumped it into a mound at 20 yds from my stand site. I did this several times before season ever started.

The morning that season opened I did the same routine but this time I stayed and climbed up in my stand and waited. As daylight approached I heard some deer coming but it didn't seem like they were coming from the same place. Well they weren't. Deer came out of the wood works from every direction. When it was all said and done I had thirteen deer under my stand at the same time and no bucks.

I never took a shot at any of the does either for there were too many eyes everywhere and I couldn't move without getting busted. But it was still a good morning to see all those deer at one time.
