Well I was finally able to buy my first catfish fishing rod and reel!!! I bought a american spirt night stick medium heavy 9 foot rod combo. The reel consisted of a bait clicker already so I won't have to buy a nice reel. I can't wait till I can get out and see what I can pull up with this new prize postion! I won't have to "borrow" catfish rods from my hubby anymore!! Ill be able to some line wet in the ocean most of next week so hopefully I can pull some monsters out!! Ill let you all know how it goes

The more times you use that new pole, Cheyanne, the better it will work
for you! When I fished more often than now, I had better results every
trip and I suspect that that will be the same with you.

Well I got out to a lake today to practice on the new reel since I had never used one like it yet. The hubby showed me and it works GREAT! I can't wait to hit the ocean monday and put it to the test!
