I took my cousin out on the river last night. First time in a few years, do to scheduling difficulties. But friends, it wasn't a wasted effort lol
He broke his PB twice last night. First with a 20 pound even flathead. then later with a sweet 31 pounder. I sadly went fishless, but it was a great trip.

Water temp was 58 degrees, skies cloudy, misting rain all night. Air temp was mid 50's. Bait is secret lol.

I had more fun watching this guy catch those two fish than I've had all year catching my own. His old PB was a 12 pound channel he caught 25 years ago from a farm pond. First he doubled it then he blew it out of the water. I forgot how "stoked" a person can get when catching their first truly big fish.

    Congrats on the nice fish.
I didn't do nearly as well as you guys. I was bank fishing the Ohio tonight. Skipjack, shad, and white suckers for bait - didn't produce too well.
