    When you are with your significant other, what kind of music do you listen to when you are trying to relax and forget about the troubles of the day?

    Nothing, just peace and quiet will do.
    I think my younger years burnt me out of music.

    I like that old country (50's, 60's, 70's) on cable or XM.

    It relaxes me so much I usually fall off to sleep.

    Some Frank Sinatra can really take the edge off of the day, one of my room mates while I was stationed in Japan got me hooked on Ol' Blue Eyes!

    Frank works for me, but how about the "new" Frank Sinatra, aka Michael Buble? He's quite talented.

    As for some other music for those laid-back, lazy moments.....
    WITH vocals..... all of Collin Raye's love songs, they're beautiful;
    Etta James Love Songs CD (the QUINTESSENTIAL version of "At Last")

    And instrumental music is always calming.....Jim Brickman on piano - he's awesome, and there's usually a couple vocalists thrown in for good measure on his CDs;
    Kenny G on soprano saxophone - very cool;
    Earl Klugh on guitar - gives you that light island-y feeling :big_smile: (Just grab a drink donned with an umbrella, and you'll be set :lol:)
