Mule deer buck relaxing during snow fall

    This was a mule deer that my husband caught bedding down during a light snow. We turned around, pulled off the side of the road. We then walked over to a guard rail and he took these pictures. You can see the snow on him just behind his neck/shoulder blades. This was taken about 30 minutes or so above Meeker, Colorado. This picture was taken the same day as the pronghorn pictures.

    Im working on getting some more bear pictures. Yesterday a huge bear was crossing the road in front of my daughter school.We oddly have NOT received any snow around here. Only a very light dusting about a month ago. Though the higher elevations have received a cpl feet in some locations. :confused2:
