Well I went with Marty last Fri. and picked up his new Pro-Cat 240. I have to admit I was not sure how it was going to look in red. After seeing his boat I think its got to be the best looking boat SeaArk has ever built (IMHO). The red and tan really look good. The black trim on the windshield and rails really set it off.

Anyway I thought I would post some pics and see what everybody else thinks.

I'm rather green with envy over that red boat. Looks like a ton of room up front. How long from steering wheel to back deck?

Thanks for the comments, fellows... The boat turned out better than I thought it was going to and I'm really liking the colors more every day.

Haven't been around here much lately, as I've got a new job where they actually expect me to work instead of surf the internet. This is the first chance I've had to mess around on the BOC at work for quite a while.

I'll eventually get a whole bunch of photos of the new boat and post them for all to see, but I'm focused on getting the boat rigged and ready for the Missouri ACATS tournament in two weeks - still have a lot to do and will lose a week waiting for the top and side curtains to be finished.

Managed to get the Humminbird 997C si partially installed last night, thanks to some help from Matt (insanedrifter) - hopefully will get that finished tonight and get the rod holders mounted on Saturday. That 997 is a sharp unit, I'm really looking forward to learning how to operate it.

If all goes well, I'll be able to put the boat on the water for a quick test ride this Sunday - might be able to post a few photos then. Otherwise it'll be at least a week, as I have to drop it off at the canvas shop Sunday evening.
