Mozingo Lake catfish

    I caught 41 pounds of catfish at Mozingo this last sat. night. Five fish in all one 5 lb, two 8 lbers, a 9.5, and a 10.5. They were a mix of blues and channels.

    I fished the flats just off of some channels near timber. In about 10 ft. of water.:wink:

    that lake is a great catfishery - try Bibly also for some brutes. I use cut bluegill on both lakes and tear them up.

    All the stuff I read about the lake said there were no blues there. I'm excited to hear you caught some. I'm heading there this week. Hoping for blues and flatties

    North end of the lake by where the creek comes in always treated us well, that lake has some big and I mean BIG flatheads in there. I personally watched 3 over 40 and 2 over 50 swim away from the north end boat ramp
