hi guys its trippy again here with yet another new idea lol this time it is to help people think about movies and recommend good movies to other members and as always i guess i'll start off with a few for you .
first off is XXX 2: STATE OF THE UNION it is a lot better than the first xxx and for the members that don't know xxx in this movie stands for three strikes. samuel jacksons character (augustus gibbons) is the recruiter for special projects in the secret service and he recruits an ex-soldier named darius stone(ice cube). this movie had lots of action and the coolest part is launching a tank into another tank from an aircraft carrier jet launcher! (you'll just hafta see lol) you'll definately wanna rent this one!
now on to movie 2. CONSTANTINE (after a comic book)keauno reeves stars in this supernatural movie as a cancer ridden detective who is out to save the world from demons and the underworld and the whole time fighting to make it to heaven after he tried committing suicide as a child.
this movie is worth renting but i think the effects could have been better.
movie 3: (my favorite of the 3 lol) FRANK MILLERS SIN CITY ( also a comic book) this movie isnt the happy love story type movie a lot of people get into its dark, extremely graphicly violent( but the blood is white mostly so its easier to deal with lol) and just plain out there ! in other words my kind of movie lol there used to be a doll of a guy in an electric chair that said " is that all you got you pansies? lol that guy is a star in one of the stories of the movie. another one of the stories stars bruce willis as a detective out to catch a child molester/killer who happens to be the senators son (nick stahl from t3) and the third part of the movie is about clive owens (king arthur star)character who is a killer that tries to protect women from a crazy drunk guy (benicio del toro) only to find out the guy isnt who he thinks he is after all. in the end this movie is all out crazy! and very good! but the cussing and gory violence may be a little too much for a lot of people.
definately worth renting for the comic book/movie adapting elements frank miller used to create a unique movie that will be talked about for a while whether good or bad lol ok guys what movies do you wanna review?

I've seen all these movies because I see almost everything that comes out on DVD. I watched a movie called Chrystal starring Billy Bob Thornton some won't like but others will love it. Personally I loved it. But I won't be posting but one time because my views make people mad.
this is a movie post so if you like a movie let people know about it bro if they get mad or disagree they can always be bored by ebert and roeper? or whoever does it lol this is the boc version of it lol so we can have fun and say movies suck all at once lol don't stop posting here just cause of other peoples opinions its not fair to the people that care about your opinion bro.just for the record we could be the boc version of em! lol wouldn't that be fun!
Million Dollar Baby was good. It didn't end like I thought it was going to though. Still I liked it.

just to keep em going i have a few more to review
first is ALONE IN THE DARK (and no its not that kind of movie lol) it is based on a computer game from years ago. it stars christian slater, steven dorff, and tara reid. it is about an ancient civilization that was destroyed by an evil power in the form of black creatures.(insert ALIEN jokes here lol) since the destruction of their civilization the abkani tribe left certain "keys" to lock the door between the worlds of theirs and the darkness.
all in all its a pretty good movie with some cool heavy metal music in it.

just to keep the wierd movies going lol the next one is SAW (part 1) this movie is about a killer who gives his victims a fighting chance by finding clues to get free. he puts them in a room with a dangerous puzzle and lets them try to figure it out or they get killed. it is a cool movie with a surprise ending lol

and finally THE LAST SAMURAI : starring tom cruise this movie is about an ex-soldier who is paid to get rid of the samurai until he gets caught by them and is forced to live there and learn their ways.of course you can figure out at the end he fights to save them. its a great movie even if you think cruise has lost his mind lately lol

The Last Samurai is a great movie, even if Tom Druise is nuts, he's still a good actor.

Hero, with Jet Li is another good Asian film, with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon style affects.

Donnie Darko is a cool movie, if not a little quirky.

National Treasure is prolly the "newest" movie I've seen, it's good.

Alien V. Predator is awesome. Predator has always been one of my favorite bad guys.
G
I'd guess one of my favorites would have to be "Last of the Dogmen" with Tom Berringer and Barbara Hershey
Quigley Down Under Is right up there with the Mc Murtry's saga Dead Man's Walk,Lonesome Dove, Return to Lonesome Dove, and The Streets of Laredo then of course comes Tombstone...
i got a few halloween movies for the next few movies
first is VAN HELSING guys if you have ever watched a b-movie that you thought was corny but really good at the same time it is kinda like that lol a few bad acting jobs but overall the movie was good lol

the next one is RESIDENT EVIL:APOCALYPSE better than the first movie this one actually takes place right after the first one left off upon reopening the hive(secret underground lab) all the infected zombies and creatures from the first movie get out and star infecting the public and in case you've never played the resident evil 3:nemesis game on the playstation the main boss of the game makes a debut in this movie (remember the guy that lived at the end of the first one? lol) all in all a good zombie/creature movie.

and for the next one DAWN OF THE DEAD:REMAKE this version is just awesome! the effects in this movie are so real it leaves you like this  lol in one scene a guy shoves a stick through a zombies head and it looks so real you do a doubletake lol the exploding headshots and other death scenes make this one a must-see for gore lovers and one to stay away from if your a little queesy and puke easily lol the movie is about a virus that turns people into zombies and the survivors make their way to an abandoned mall to hold up until help arrives.

ok and one more for the record lol FROM DUSK TIL DAWN : this movie is one of the best and most entertaining vampire movie out there george clooney and quentin tarrintino star as bank robbers and killers who are running from the law when they meet up with a family of travelers going into mexico. they go to a bar (after they get held up lol ) and thats where the fun begins as the bar is full of yep you guessed it vampires and that is why it is open from dusk til dawn lol there are 3 movies to the series but the first one is the best lol in my opinion

darryl i got a few funny movies to review also lol
AMERICAN WEDDING this movie is the last of the american pie saga and yes it just happens to be one of the best ones lol i know it doesnt sound too funny but it has more crazy stuff than the two original pie movies and still has a happy ending lol the story jim and michelle are getting married, stifler plans the bachelor party and jims friends try to keep everything from falling apart. plus michelles sister cadence drops in and stifler and finch fight constantly over her. i gotta say this is a good movie but not many people will like the crude jokes and nudity in it so if your easily offended skip this one lol

and another is HAROLD AND KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE not much comedy in the name but they say going there is half the fun? lol two room mate stoners decide to go to white castle following their craving for good food lol on thier way they meet maria( who harold has a crush on) shavetz and goldstien (harold and kumars best friends) freakshow (a towtruck driver) leann (freakshows wife) several of howard co-workers and NEIL PATRICK HARRIS as you've never seen him before! lol say goodbye to doogie howser md cause in this one hes trippin out through the movie all this just to get some burgers lol i guess in their smoked up phase they forgot white castle makes microwavable burgers? lol its a funny movie complete with riding a cheetah(long story) and lots of smoking the herbal stuff ;lol not recommended for kids or easily offended people but for everyone else you'll laugh all the way through it lol

DRC, that is one of the funniest things I've seen in the longest time. What an awesome cult classic it has already turned into!

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a great movie, if you've ever spent anytime in an altered state. lol Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro starring as Hunter S. Thompson and his attorney on a wild weeked in Vegas.

How about Detroit Rock City? Four high school friends doing whatever they have to to get to a KISS concert. Awesome soundtrack on this one for classic rock fans.

21 Grams, Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn. This is a very disturbing movie, don't expect to feel good at the end of it-you won't. The storyline is very tricky, since it jumps back and forth, but it is very well done with great performances by the actors.
ok here are a few more movies in the halloween category (scary movies) lol
first is UNDERWORLD: this is a movie that features vampires and werewolves as rival gangs lol i know it sounds kinda funny but the movie itself is awesome! with a clue at the end to lead to underworld part 2?

the next movie is : THE FORSAKEN it s a movie about a guy who is supposed to drive a car across country for a lady client and on his way he meets up with a drifter who just so happens to be a vampire hunter.they meet a girl on the way and find who they think is the main vampire who can release them of their curse.and it leads to hints about a sequel too lol

and the third movie is 28 DAYS LATER: this is one of the most original zombie movies out. these zombies run after you! they dont just mope around lol the movie starts showing you how a break-in at a scientific testing facility goes terribly wrong when they release the infected chimps in the labs and then the story picks back up after the damage and infection has already been spread to the area. it is definately worth watching if you like horror movies!
and what the heck i'll review one more for you guys lol
the last movie is FREDDY VS. JASON this is a crazy movie which at first sounds like it would be great! freddy cant come back to elm street because his "children" forgot about him so he doesnt have the power to get them. so he decides to bring jason back from the grave and have him kill kids on elm street so people start thinking its freddy again. the kids in the movie after freddy has returned decidedto make jason fight him at crystal lake! jasons home turf and when they finally get them both there, the hacking and slashing begins lol it gets really gorey and that was what you were expecting right? lol its a good movie if not a little less than i expected but who knows maybe micheal myers(halloween the movie) and the headless horseman (sleepy hollow) can do a silent movie fighting each other lol until next time have fun guys and keep em coming! lol

some of my favorite movies are caddyshack and platoon, love them both.
You can't forget one of the greatest movies of all time -
Smokey and the Bandit, with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, and Jackie Gleason. The first one is good, the second one is alright, but I don't know what they were thinking when they made the third one.
Gone Fishin' (1997) Danny Glover and Joe Pesci (who could have used their Lethal Weapon series buddy Mel Gibson in here) star as slow-witted friends who take their dream fishing vacation in the Florida Everglades and end up having a series of disasters. Trouble is, director Christopher Cain can't get a handle on any of the comedy essentials for a project such as this. The result is a badly timed, badly toned, unfunny movie wasting a lot of great talent across the board. --Tom Keogh --This text refers to the VHS Tape edition.

thats what it says on the back, this is a must see if you live comdies
What About Bob? (1991) Comic wizard Bill Murray (CRADLE WILL ROCK, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS) teams up with Academy Award(R)-winner Richard Dreyfuss teams up with (Best Actor, 1978, THE GOODBYE GIRL) in an outrageously wild comedy that's sure to drive you off the deep end! Murray plays Bob Wiley, a troubled but lovable therapy patient who fears everything! After seeking help from noted psychiatrist Dr. Leo Marvin (Dreyfuss), Bob feels revived. But when the good doctor skips town to go on a quiet family vacation, Bob, afraid of being alone, follows -- showing up unexpectedly at the therapist's lakeside retreat. That's when the fun really begins! Bob innocently becomes the houseguest who just won't leave -- endearing himself to the other family members ... and, in the end, driving the stressed-out shrink absolutely crazy!
this is what the box says this is also a good movie you should see
A movie that only true horror buffs could love, Army of Darkness is officially part 3 in the wild and wacky Evil Dead trilogy masterminded by the perversely inventive director Sam Raimi, who would later serve as executive producer of the popular syndicated TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Raimi's favorite actor, Bruce Campbell, returns as Ash (hero of the first two Evil Dead flicks), a hardware-store clerk who is magically transported--along with his beat-up Oldsmobile and a chainsaw attachment for his severed left forearm--to the brutal battlefields of the 14th century. He quickly assumes power (who else in the Middle Ages packs a shotgun and a chainsaw?), and unites his band of medieval knights against the dreaded Army of the Dead. Raimi gleefully subverts almost every horror-movie cliché as he serves up a nonstop parade of blood, gore, and vicious sword-bearing skeletons--an affectionate homage to animator Ray Harryhausen's classic Jason and the Argonauts. The frantic action is fun while it lasts, but even at 80 minutes Army of Darkness nearly wears out its welcome. You know that Raimi can maintain the mayhem for only so long before it grows tiresome, and fortunately this madcap movie quits while it's ahead. --Jeff Shannon --This text refers to the VHS Tape edition.
