I picked up a couple Bottomline Tournament jobs off of ebay for a good price. I was going to mount one on the console/transducer/transom and 1 front of boat/transducer/trolling motor.

I very seldom sit in the front. I do like to check the edges of bank for deeper spots/holes for limb lines. Can I mount both on the console and have both transducers on the transom, with 1 pointing down and 1 angled to the side to show side view. Has anyone tryed this? I used to have a Bottom line with the sidefinder deal, and when I bought it, I was under the impression it would show structure off the side. All it showed was fish and there distance to the boat. No help.

If this idea would work, I think it would be a great help picking spots for limb lines.

I would appreciate any and all oppinions.
