Motor question

    hey i have a 10hp motor that i brought into the garage to change the prop and left it in there to keep it outa cold temps,
    here my question
    will it hurt it to lay on its side?

    I would try to drain the carb first. If you can't just make sure you stand it up for at least 24 hrs before trying to start because all the fuel will try to get into the crank case . it needs to drain down and out of the exhaust housing before restart.

    Is it a 2 stroke or a four stroke, if its a 2 stroke I dont see the problem but a four stroke you might get oil into places that you dont want it to go. The best thing is probably to clamp it to a saw horse or something like that.
